Tell us a little,
about who you are

Terry Cassity

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I retired from the Boise VA Medical Center as the Director of the 3 week Residential Substance Abuse Treatment program. Being a veteran myself has given me greater insight while working with Veterans and their partners. During this time I have successfully dealt with a wide range of counseling issues.

I have had a private practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 25 years. My patients have stated I make them feel comfortable and understood. My goal is to create an environment in which you feel listened to and not judged. It takes a great deal of courage to begin counseling with a new person. My goal is to make your experience in counseling as comfortable as possible.

I have been told I have a compassionately direct counseling style. I will take all the information you share and help you put it in perspective so you can begin to see your options. Think of my office as a Safe Port in the storm. My job is to help you regain your ability to see choices you may be missing because you feel over-whelmed.  I do well with clients who feel stuck and have a difficult time deciding what they want or how to explain it.

I am a Blue Cross provider. Other insurance maybe accepted on an out-of-network basis. Please call to discuss if you have any questions.

What we discuss in my office is just between us. Confidentiality is a High Priority.

If you have questions I invite you to call me at 208.995.3985. You may also visit my website at:
