Angie Brown

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Seeing a therapist is an effective way to make positive changes in your life. I offer counseling in a supportive, safe and nonjudgemental atmosphere. I have 15 years of experience in the counseling field addressing a wide range of issues. Because I do not believe that one therapist fits all, I am happy to discuss your situation with you over the phone prior to your first appointment.

I received a Bachelor's Degree in psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1998. I then completed a Masters Degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family therapy from the University of Clororado at Denver in 2001. During my undergraduate studies, I interned at Safe House Denver, assisting victims of domestic violence. I completed a graduate internship at Porters Hospital's Intensive Outpatient Eating Disorder program. I achieved certification as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado in 2004. I became a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Idaho after my family and I moved here in 2015. After years of working for agencies in the mental health field, I set out to establish a private practice where I have the ability to provide counseling services driven by my clients needs without restrictions set by agencies or programs. I have been married for 18 years and am the mother of 2 school aged children. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and experiencing all that Idaho has to offer.
